This postcard was wrote by Edith Minturn Sedgwick to Andy Warhol after Valerie Solanas shot him. I took the picture from the book “Edie Girl on Fire”. I love that book: makes me feel closer to her.

June 4th, 1968
Darling Andy,
I was so horribly upset to heard how you were severly injured. I am saying prayers for you…don’t know how much good they do, but at least you will know I care, and I care tremendously.
You are one of the few people who really matter to me, and I can’t bear the thought of anything bad happening to you. I hope this letter finds you well in the way to recovery and with it I send you ALL my love.
